PRESIDENT'S SPEECH
Sihanoukville Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT), established on October 31, 2018, is a Cambodia-China joint-ventured applied higher education institution. The Institute adheres to our philosophy of share, industry, bold and true. Characterized by internationalization, specialization, informatization, and integration of production and education, the Institute is committed to cultivating high-skilled professionals and specialists with a global vision, ample knowledge, advanced technology, and high morality that are essential for the national economic development.

BACKGROUND OF SIBT
Sihanoukville Institute of Business and Technology (SIBT) is a private higher education institution approved by the royal government of Cambodia under Sub-Decree No. 136, under the supervision of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of Cambodia. The Institute, located in the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone (SSEZ), is the first Chinese featured higher education institution established in Cambodia, with Chinese language as one of its major teaching and working languages. With the generous support of governments, enterprises and social organizations in Cambodia and China, the Institute focuses on strengthening higher education, vocational training, scientific and technological services, and cultural exchanges between China and Cambodia.
